Rev. Fr. omachi Arome Michael was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Clement Bala Omachi of Abo Ojikpada Imane district in Olamaboro local government of Kogi State, Nigeria, on 07/29/1980. He is the fourth of eight siblings. He has 6 sisters and a brother.
He had his nursery education in St. Lucia nursery school (1985-1988), and Sheback International School, Kaduna, for primary education (1989-1995). Relentless with zeal and vigor for academic pursuit, he furthered into Piety high school where he began his secondary education, attended Oxford International School Kaduna, and completed at Victory Academic International School, Kaduna. At this juncture, with adhesion to the call of God to service and humanity, he was sent to St. Peter the Apostle Spiritual house Eruku for his spiritual year (October 3rd to June 22, 2001). After the rigorous and intensive spiritual nurture, he proceeded to St. Thomas Aquina's Major Seminary, Makurdi where he gained a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the prestigious Urbanian University, Rome 2002- 2006. After this, he had his first phase of pastoral year at St. joseph's Cathedral for4 months, as it was aborted due to the need for another degree exams to be written for Benue State University. He completed his pastoral year eventually at St. Matthew's catholic church television and St. Andrew's Catholic Church Sabon, Sarki between 2007 and 2008.
He was ordained a Catholic priest on 07/28/2012. He served in the following parishes for apostolic work: Holy Spirit Parish Kuchaba -- July and September 2009. And his final apostolic work at his domicile parish: St. Francis of Assisi, Goningora, Kaduna. He served as The Assistant Administrator of at The St Joseph's Cathedral, Kaduna, Nigeria, and later became the parish priest of St. Dominic’s Basilica, Kaduna, Nigeria.
Fr. is an extremely industrious, intelligent and deep-thinking contemplative person whose classical charisma, optimism and zest. Hence, no second spent with him can be considered waste.
His intellectual IQ is not limited to academic excellence alone, but goes beyond into other spheres of life, viz a viz: in music, writings, oratory and comedy. He is vast and knowledgeable in different spheres of life. He has proven to be a genius in Nigeria and beyond. Practically, this musical prowess of his has been displayed in virtually all the major tribes and cultures of Nigeria. He was the choirmaster all through his study years in the seminary, and at the same time president of the student’s union government. This responsibility bestowed on him was on the fact that, he has a distinct and distinguished personality that everybody wished to emulate. He is a thorough leader, the kind whom one can always count on to do an extra ordinary job. Never take him on in a debate unless you are assure of your facts, for you he good combining verbal aggressiveness and attendance to details. He is a popular philanthropist on campus, always moved to pity. He has St. John Chrysostom, De Golden Mouthed as his mentor, and has this as his best biblical quotation "if you o Lord should Mark our Guilt, who would survive” (ps 130: 3).
His hobbies include Writing songs, playing music, singing, table Tennis and Lawn Tennis. He has this as his philosophy of life "help others using the same help you have received from God”
